The "War Admiral Members Course" is a par 72, 6,889 yard classic parkland-style course and will be the premier golf attraction at GlenRiddle. The course has been designed by Joel Weiman in collaboration with design consultant and 2003 U.S. Open Champion, Jim Furyk. Weiman is the chief course designer for the nationally renowned golf course engineering company, McDonald & Sons, Inc. The course is routed through mature forest, providing a wonderful contrast to the "Man O'War", a links-style design. The huge old trees will frame and define the fairways, as well as provide a bit of shelter from the coastal winds. The layout winds through the beautiful tidal marshes with many challenging shots off the tees and into the greens. Tees, fairways and greens of "War Admiral Members Course" will be bentgrass, while the rough will be tall fescue with four risk-reward Par 5's and four skill-testing Par 3's.
